2025 Spring Season
Practice begins the first Sunday in January and continues until the season starts, typically the third Sunday in February. We are looking to add a few players, so if you are interested, please contact the team manager.

League & Umpire Fees
The cost to play an entire 14-game season is $320. We play a spring and summer season each year. The $320 covers the cost of league fees ($200), umpire fees ($100), and ice and bottled water for each game ($20). League fees are due before the season starts, you cannot play games without paying. Fees can be paid by cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal. Fees are non-refundable and cannot be prorated. This does not cover the cost of a uniform or equipment.
Uniforms & Equipment
Players must purchase their own uniforms. We wear a custom jersey ($75) and custom hat ($25) that can be ordered through the team manager. The rest of the uniform is made up of white pants, a red belt, and red socks.
Players are also required to bring their own equipment, such as a glove, metal cleats, wood bat, and batting helmet. These items will not be provided to you. We play in a wood bat league, no metal bats are allowed.
Player Commitment
Attending the majority of games during the course of a season is required. If a player will not be attending a game, he must notify the coach via phone call, text, or email. In addition to showing up for each game, players are expected to arrive at least 30 minutes early to warm up and stay after the game to help rake and water the field. The Player Code of Conduct and Behavior Policies can be found on the league website.
About the Diablos
The Tri-City Diablos baseball team plays in the 18+ wood bat division of the North County MSBL baseball league. This team has been together for more than 20 years. We play primarily on Sunday mornings in the spring and summer. If you want to join the team, contact the team manager using the form at the bottom of this page.
